报告人：Dr. Sambasivam Periyannan

Sambasivam Periyannan博士，澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO）研究员，长期从事小麦抗锈病基因的克隆及小麦-锈病分子互作研究。成功克隆得到小麦抗杆锈病Sr33基因，报道MutRenSeq小麦抗锈病基因快速克隆技术。以第一或通讯作者在Science、Nature Biotechnology、PloS Pathogens、New Phytologist及Plant Biotechnology Journal等国际知名期刊上发表多篇SCI论文。欧洲和地中海麦类锈病基金组织的董事会成员，SABRAO Journal of Breeding and Genetics期刊副主编，Frontiers in Plant Science、Agronomy、Crop Breeding及Genetics and Genomics等期刊编委会成员，Plant Biotechnology Journal、BMC Genomics、BMC Plant Biology、Plant Pathology及Plant Disease等期刊审稿人。

报告主要介绍澳大利亚CSIRO和国立大学在小麦锈病方面的最新研究进展，包括寄主抗病基因和小麦秆锈菌无毒（毒性）基因的克隆，及其小麦与叶锈菌互作的相关研究。
